Combitechs patented pavement freezing point sensor has been further developed and integrated into a mobile field equipment. The FboX is used by field personell to manually retrieve freezing point data. Fluid from the surface is manually collected and put on the sensor. The freezing point is obtained from the Fbox after pressing the measurement button.

Freezing point data is shown on a display on the FboX.

The FboX has an internal heating and cooling system that makes it possible to use the FboX over a large temperature interval.

The FboX is supplied from a 12V DC source such as the car standard power outlet. The current consumption is 4A.
